i have the news block as my start page and i also have some other junk on there too in the center block. is there a way to make the news stuff be at the top of the page and the rest under it?

For that, you will have to modify your theme to show module contents above the center blocks - see the XOOPS FAQ for relevant FAQs

can you tell me what file i need to modify? or which faq i need to look at? i looked at them all and didnt seem to find anything along these lines. im new to this so forgive me plz.
