dhtml menu problem

Hello,

I am trying to integrate a dhtml menu in my theme.html page.

Now, when viewing on firefox, it seems to work well, I see it and all.

But in IE, all I get is a small 5 pixel bar corresponding to the menu, it isn't full size.
Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
