I know I could go through the forums and site, but I'm looking for quick answers.

I need to get a CMS site up. I've been using phpnuke for a while now, however I am courious about xoops. Couple of questions -

1. Can XOOPS accept an rss feed into a content page? I'd like to have a LiveJournal.com account fed into the site. Easily, with little tweeking.

2. I am going to need to create various content pages containing documents/articles. I'll need to setup a keyword search that goes through all of these content pages and then displays the results. Is this feature already setup in xoops?

Umm... anyother info you could give me on phpnuke vs XOOPS would be great.

Thanks!

1. Yes - there are several "headlines" modules out there

2. Most modules implement search features - try clicking on "advanced search" in the block on the right and you can select which modules to search in.

Generally, PHPNuke is somewhat older, messier code, but also with a huge community and loads of modules - quality varies a great deal, though.
