I'm not sure what to call it but I need to edit the intro page. How do I do that, or where can I access it from administrative? Sorry for all the questions.. total newbie trying to figure things out. Already looked in the FAQ section and can't find anything about editing the intro page.

What do you want to do with it?

You can start by creating some custom blocks for the home page only.

You can't just go to index.php and add the content to it. You have to do it through blocks and modules.
