I've installed newbb2 and am very happy with it's functionality. Now I'm trying to customize it's look (mainly colors and such of the tables), but I'm having a heck of a time figuring out what is what. I've managed to make some headway with the newbb.css file, but there are still areas of the newbb code that confuses the heck out of me. So I was wondering if someone could help a noob out and please explain what each of the following files and css codes do:

First, download a program TopStyle 3 (google for link )

Then open newbb.css in this program and on the right you will se the colors to edit. Choose your own colors and save it. Then overwrite old newbb.css and the colors will be new. You can only modify smo little things ... for more you have to edit your own theme.

How do I hide/disable the time (not the date) a post was made in the Block, Category view, and Forum view? Basically I only want to see the date a post was made in all screens except the actualy thread where I want both the date and time to show up. Other than in the thread I only want the date to show up. It takes up too much room in the layout.
