Hello guys and gals, I have this issue with my site. I mean everything is working dandy as far as the website is concerned and also the module, but the blog option for Wordpress has one little thing that I need to get fixed and that is the fact that it allows for anyone to submit a blog and well, its my site and I'd like it to be only I the person who is able to submit blogs.

Reason behind it is the fact that when you go to my site, thats the first thing that shows up (the blog) and well, I dont know if I wanna trust my users to use the blog. Not only that, its a personal site.


Any help would be great thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't this be setup by setting up the Editor groups configuration in the general settings area (I'm looking at Wordpress ME 0.32).

It isnt anywhere visible. I'm trying to disallow the posting while allowing the viewing of the blog.

You can allow users to see it by giving them access permission through Groups section on XOOPS Admin.

Then, if you want allow or disallow users to post, just go to WordPress Preferences, and it's there Editors' group option: just select Webmasters or the group you want to allow to post.

Got it! I think I did what you meant. Disallowed "write" access to everyone but the webmaster and gave "read" access to everyone. Thanks!
