I'm trying to get friendfinder module 3.1 working, but no luck. I have XOOPS 2.0.7.3 on windows platform.

The installation of the module is ok, but the changes I do in the module admin section is not stored. It just jumps back to the same config page.

I have removed all other modules!
Any one have any ideas?

try to uninstall the module and reinstall from a fresh load. Also there is a problem in the code re: direct buddy check in view.php. just // those lines of code. And not sure but it also sounds like the variables in the code are not defined but i cant tell which file since www...

I am no coder but after reading php for hours you begin to pick up what everything means. Not sure if this solves the problem I have gotten the friendfinder to work and incorporated directfriends into it perfectly http://www.code33.com/modules/friendfinder/ .

Also did you chmod the proper files like config.php etc? I cant rember which files need what permissions but it should be in the install.txt documentation file that came with the module.
