I think the forum on www.xoops.org is pretty amazing, really great, I understand it is running Newbb2.1 RC3. I've found the file, but I am puzzled by the complex way this module needs to be installed. I've read the readmefirst, but it still is unclear. I've managed to ftp the patched mainfile, that's simple enough, but then it says: Upload the new files and run the proper update scripts. What files, what scripts ?

Isn't there an easier way to install this. I haven't used newbb at all yet, so isn't it possible to do a complete new install, or at least maybe have a very clear instuction on how to do what ?

Maybe I'm plain stupid, but it's just not clear to me :)
