All I get is:

/www.my-url.com/uploads/smil417ed4dae6c53.gif" alt="" />

Whenever I use a smilie. (Smiley filename may vary.)

Xoops 2.0.9 Beta

This happens with anything that uses smilies; forums, shoutbox, news, etc.

Any ideas? I've tried looking through some of the function files and such, and everything seems to be ok.

This problem is still unresolved. I have searched through everything and can't find a solution. Can anyone at least tell which file processes the smilies?

This happened to me a year ago when I installed xoops. It was the permissions on one of the folders but I forgot which one, you need to change the CHMOD.
