administration menu link does not appear on user menu

Hi peoples,

I created a new user with restricted admin privileges.
When I log on as that user, I do not get the administration menu link on appearing on the user menu.

If I link to the admin page manually (tiny event) then I can administer the events section.

I would like the link to appear on the user menu. How can I do this?

You can't do this without granting at least one system level admin priviledge to that user. A pain in the bum I know, but what I did was granted access to the banners section, and then turned off the banners in the general preferences area.
