Is there a way to assign different levels of permissions for different categories with the Articles 0.17 mod?

I would like all but one of my Articles categories to be open to the public -- is there a way to do that?

To my knowledge the Articles module does not facilitate the use of category level permissions. To do use permissions on a category level you'll need to use a module such as News 1.2.x, AMS (to be released at the end of this month) or WF-Section.

No exact date as of yet SMD, but I'd say it'll be either the 29th or 30th of this month.
