Hello, I'm just dropping by because I couldn't seem to get the poll function on my forum working.

How do you create polls in the forum? The option isn't there.

are u using newbb2?

you've to open new topic first.. then, you can attach poll to the topic. but you're to allow poll attach in forum settings

Yes, I have installed the Xoopspoll module but I can't seem to find where to allow poll attach in the forum settings.

Can someone please help? I'm planning on opening my site to the public, but before I do so I need to get the thread polls working.

Which Version do you use, you didn´t answer this, the poll function is only in the new newbb 2.0 and not in the newbb which is shipped with the current XOOPS Package.

In Newbb 2.0 you have in the forum settings Allow Polls and also set the permission for the groups.

I use XOOPS 2.0.7.3 and the version of Newbb which came with it.
