I installed the 2.0.9 update from 2.0.7.
In the process of installing that i also installed phpads.
When installing phpads i changed the database password on my server.
Now the main XOOPS site will not load.
I get error message:
This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

So now i have a problem. I can't remember the old password for the database so how do i change XOOPS to regognise the new password?
You help is greatly appreciated.

set permissions on your mainfile.php to not read-only
download mainfile.php
set database password to new value
upload mainfile.php to the webserver
set permissions for mainfile.php to read-only

When i went to change the permissions from read to not read im getting a bit confused.
The file is set: read - read - read - write(owner)
So when i un-check all the reads it wont let me download the mainfile.php.
Also i seem to have 2 mainfile.php files. 1 is in the main folder and the other is inside the html folder in xoops.
i have downloaded those 2 files and both say XOOPS is not installed.
I am wondering if i give you the ftp details could you fix this problem for me?
Also id like to change the name of the XOOPS folder but that has also given me problems.
