The user that the httpd.php module uses
should have write access to the userpics directory.
To save thumnails, or something.
- Right?

usualle that means "chmod 707 userpics/"
- Right?

But i don't like the idea that other users can write
in the directory. and access the files like discribed somewhere in this forum. (right click on image for image location) How can i secure this?

And how does the system exacly work? should
i use a different subfolder for every album? or
can i upload everything in the same folder?
And because the script does "something" with the database,
does that mean that all pictures are stored in the database?
Thus i can delete all image files in the userpic directory?

Or are al these question awnsered in some sort
of document? :)

greetings.. from the netherlands.

Should i rewrite the question? Or is it understandable in this setting?

Would like to hear you thought about this issue.

greetings
