Making a custom page

I am trying to make a custom page with XOOPS 2.0.7.3. I also need to be able to link this page to the Main Menu. This is not a custom block, just a custom page linked to the menu. Is there a module that I need to install or is there an easier way?

Wow good question, Iv just taken to making modules to do this. Iv just been looking at other modules sorce code to learn it, it is very simple. One of the easiest examples I use that explaned alot on adding to the main menu was Brian's Fun Games module, it only hase like 3 pages. most of those only have like 2 to 5 lines of code. So my sugestion would be to download it to your local machine, extract it and just look at it. I think you will get all your anseres there in a matter of minutes.

Open /modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_mainmenu.html in your editor, and just place the link to the page you want added to the main menu.

Thanks guys. I am also trying to figure out the use of channels in WF-Channel.

It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. You might also want to take a look at WF Section.

WF Section is an article manager. When you create a document, you can choose to let it appear in the main menu.
