I am looking into making a slight change in the way entries are displayed on the calender.

the way it is now, the title of the event is shown on the day it is happenening. the problem with that, for me, is that I will be having 30-40 events on some days, and the calender would resize to be HUGE.

I want to mod it so that instead of showing the individual events, it just displays the categories that are happening that day. then you would select the category, and it would bring you to a list of the entries for that category for that day.

I will be working on this for a bit, but I am still a noob to this code, so it would take a while. so has anyopne already "modded the mod" and want to share?
