Hi,

Does anyone know why XOOPS doesn't have a RSS button (or link) ? At least, the xoops.org site doesn't have one (though it does have <link rel="alternate" type="application/xml" title="RSS" href="https://xoops.org/backend.php"> in the code). Of course it is possible to add a button on your own site, but shouldn't there be one by default?

I beleive you can create your own button and link with html

<a href="www.yoursite.com/backend.php">
<img src="images/rss.gif (or whatever)">

also people simply need to enter the link: "http://www.yoursite.com/backend.php" in there rss feeder/aggregator and walla! newsfeed.

cannot remember off hand specific code but something to that effect would work.

code and change the link to a button in your php theme or index can't remember which page its in.

Hope this helps

I know it is possible to add a button/link. But I think it's better if it there is one by default (or some setting to add it instead of needing to code it).

Also the xoops.org site should have one... for IE users it is not obvious that the site has a feed.
