Well, I tried it myself too. I didn't put the code where you did, but I did get a list of IP addresses before the actual posts.

The other thing I didn't mention, which I should have, is that you have to select the "cloned" template set in the preferences menu.

Sorry it took me soo long to answer this post. I licked the problem though by upgrading to the new BB 2.0. Thanks for all your help and sorry if I was alittle pissy with ya in this post.
