I installed 2.0.7 on my server running suse 9.1. I made all the necessary files/folder writable, am running up to date version of both php and mysql. However, if I try to load any page it is simply blank. I have done a search on this topic and saw that several people have had similar problems. However, I have not seen a solution yet.

Also, I have managed to get runcms to work correctly on the same server, but would rather use xoops. Any tips on where to start looking would be appreciated as I am fairly new to xoops.

What did you type in the address bar to install the xoops?

I simply pointed the browser tohttp://localhost on the server

grep extension= `locate php.ini`
extension=mysql.so

Check that you have that line in your php.ini.
