hi, for some reason i have a "privacy policy" button, and a bar at the top of the site inder the logo with links like "Trevoc - News - FAQ - Forum - Polls - Members - Downloads" and i want to get rid of both the top bar and privacy policy button, but i dont know how! the sie is http://Trevoc.LinuxShit.org if you want to see!

Firstly the top bar need to be remove in the theme.html files in the theme folder.

Secondly, if the privacy policy it's a module you have to goto system menu and disable and remove the module.

If you have the privacy policy without any module, you have to make a duplication of the default templates, you will have to go into the system>and look for mainmenu/html and go in and edit the file by remove the text link.

if you already have one that is not the default templates name, you will have to go into the system>and look for mainmenu/html and go in and edit the file by remove the text link.

cool, i got rid of the bar, but i dont understand what your saying about the privacy policy

Go to admin menu, System admin, templates.
Once there you should have a "default" template. if this is the only template them you will need to clone it so you can edit it. If you are already using a different template under templates there will be one that says something like "System [List(26)]"

Click on list then scroll down to "system_block_mainmenu.html" and click edit.

There should be a line in this file toward the bottom the says: Privacy Policy

cut it out and try that. If it doesn't work paste it back.
