I tried that, adding the [] in the line:
window.document.".$this->getName()."[].".$required[$i]->getName().".value == \"\"

But it still doesn’t work although I do get the mail

I looked for it in the 2.0.6 but could not find it.

Help Help

Try commenting out the following line in modules/system/admin/mailusers/mailform.php

$form->setRequired($to_checkbox);

so that it will look like

//$form->setRequired($to_checkbox);

No luck..
Still the same errors, although I still get the mail.

EDIT: I am modifying the 2.0.5.2 version not the 2.0.6 version.

Hello,

I'm using 2.0.6 version of XOOPS and I'm getting the same error:

SMTP Error: Data not accepted

While trying to use SMTPauth (I'm very sure that my username and password adre correct)

I've also tried the SMTPauth fix > https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=8800&forum=21#forumpost34829

but it doesn't help either.
I also didn't find any sign of
'windows.document.mailusers.mail_send_to.value == "" '
in class/xoopsform/form.php file.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Hi, I installed XOOPS in the dir XOOPS on my domain about three weeks ago. Everything has gone incredibly smooth except for one thing. I have searched here, and found a few posts about it, but no solutions that seem to fit my issue. I also googled it and found this post (I couldn't find it through XOOPS search for some reason)
Anyway, my problem is with smtpauth mail sending.
I get this error everytime I try to sign up a new user:
Quote:
You are now registered. However, we were unable to send the activation mail to your email account due to an internal error that had occurred on our server. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please send the webmaster an email notifying him/her of the situation.

I have quadruple checked that my settings are correct on the smtpauth (i.e. host, user, pass) and it's still not working.
I really need some help here. I have been reading Welling and Thomsons "php and mysql" web development to better understand how these scripts are working, but I am nowhere near understanding it fully. I really need to get my site online before my users bail on me.
Thanks in advance,
-Chip

Mail in XOOPS seems to be a cluster fuck at best. I'm not sure why but it seems that most people have issues with it even when running on their own box.
