Im trying to set my defualt charset to be windows-1251 (this is Cyrillic btw) but I just cant go it. These are the metatags from my theme:











I tryed seting the 1st one to windows-1251 but no luck. This is what my other site language metatag looks like:



It works but Im not using XOOPS with that site Any help?

Try changing the value for _CHARSET in language/*/global.php.

The Smarty template variable xoops_charset will be assigned that value (in class/template.php).
