greetings,

I'm looking for vbb forum module, so someone please inform me if this question has been answered (though I searched and did not find).

I'm using vbb forum, and I'd like to use XOOPS to be my cms system,I'm wondering if XOOPS has a vbb module offering details similar to the vbadvanced CMPS feature of vbb,etc, etc.

Is there a module to handle this already? Or one in the works?

Please advise...

there is no vbb module. and as i have read other topics the dev team won't develop it in the near future...

there are only phpbb and ipb modules. well, they are not modules, but additions. i think so. you can try ipb module. it is integrated into XOOPS and works pretty well. but not so much as newbb.

AND WHERE IS NEBB 2? WE ARE WAITING FOR IT!!! PREDATOR, WHERE ARE YOU. PLEASE. RESPONSE!

VBB is not open source and as such we cannot make a VBB module without the consent of the VBB developers (which we will not get)

The latest newBB forum module is online here http://testsite.xoops2.org/modules/newbb/

As you will see Predator has added some excellent new features, some of which are not even available on other top class commercial forums.

Seems like a good opportunity to say THANKS to Predator and all other contributors to this module. We look forward to a final release

i have even registered there. well. where is Predator. OR when IT WILL BE REALSED (?3rd beta?)...

i'm waiting for 2.5 months...

Predator is currently a little stressed with his realtime job. So it will be ready when its ready.

Great to see you back online Predator . Sounds like you've had plenty on your plate in the last few monts, no wonder you have been away, and with 1817 emails to welcome you back, at least you know you were missed .
