How do I remove the XOOPS logo in the url bar?

Remove the favicon.ico from your XOOPS directory, or use a ICO program, and edit it to reflect your logo.

If you mean images/banners/banner.swf, you can get rid of that from Administration >> System Admin >> Banners.
