Are there any experts in the LA area (I'm in Culver City) that offer classes or tutoring on XOOPS, PHP, MySQL? If there are I'd be willing to sign up...and pay even.

User group events & Training, this gives you many details, don't know if there is anything in your area, but worth a try.

You could also try buying a PHP/MYSQL book.

If you get stuck you could ask a programmer, there are sites where you can get much tech support for PHP.

Thanks. And yeah, I have looked into a couple of books there are a lot out there but I ordered the Visual Basic guide on PHP&MYSql which should arrive tomorrow hopefully. I will check out the usergroups.

I personally went through: SAMS - Teach Yourself PHP in 24 Hours.

I wouldn't take the 24 hours to heart though. lol
