I'd like a little module that allows a user or moderator or admin to enter the following information on a form that is submitted for approval:

Scientific Name:
Common Name:
Description:
Length:
Distribution:
Habitat:
Status:
Habits:
Natural diet:
Breeding behaviour:
Aviculture:
Accommodation:
Diet:
Breeding in aviculture:
Comments:
Link1:
Link2:
Link3: (web links to other sites related to this item)

I'd like the Scientific Name and Common name to be searchable.
The form should require them to select or indicate somehow what category and subcategories to submit the information into. Categories should be able to have sub-categories.
Once the information is submitted, the admin approves it and it's added to the searchable or browsable pages. The pages should simply display the categories and if any specific item is selected, display the fields and the information in them.


Basically this would allow me to create a species database where users and myself could enter descriptions for various types of animals. I would be using it simply for parrots.
I would think the field names and such would be definable by the site admin so this module could then be used for fish, dogs, cats, birds, aligators... whatever.
