My only concern is how payments would be made. If a payment gateway couldnt support a particular subscription based payment, how would that come along?

Coding wise, its easy, but its the payment structure that is the toughy.

Thanks for joining in the thread burnwave. I wouldn't be able to tell you much on that but for me my utmost concern is PayPal + another 3rd party mostly likely 2checkout. aMember does these very well in the site I mentioned earlier, we have both PayPal & 2checkout doing monthly recurring. But I suppose you're talking about how a subscription is set up right? Could you contact me we talk some more if you'd rather not discuss it here that is.

I'm thinking about investing in getting a XOOPS subscription script done however if i was to i would make it an investment script for me. I would sell it for $10. I believe this would be reasonable. Do you agree?

Just to let you know, i have gone ahead and trying to get programmers intrested.

The $10 will be a "donation" for the module if you like as i have been reading up. However the donation will be compulsory to the gain the module unless under special circumstances. I am simply putting this in because i need to pay off the price of getting this done.

As far as a simple PayPal module, maybe a crafty modder could just take a whack at the donation mod (an already released and well organized, great mod) and morph it in to a simple product mod, by basically adding only the ability to make categories and a descriptions under the price radio button.

The OSCommerce mod seems a little overkill for some little things, where something like this would be ideal.

- If the Radio buttons could call the descriptions in with the PayPal link, you'd be good to go.

- Maybe an easy fork with out a million man hours?

- You can use my product sample too!

Cuckston. $10 is a steal! Count me in.

bd_csmc: I found this Nuke mod today http://www.paypalnuke.com. I know you're probably busy with the phpbb thing now but would you be willing to port over to XOOPS if I buy paypalnuke? Or anyone? I just talked to burnwave and he's not taking cusomization now
