These are the Modules I have for XOOPS 2.2.4, that work wonderful for the site operations that I require. Have been running 2.2.4 for 6+ months will absolutely no issues on a second site. But went to reload the first site and XOOPS 2.2.4 or any other version of 2.2.x will not start up keep say "No Language File" at start up. With XOOPS 2.3.2 which I like the layout, but can't get the modules to come up on the listing to be able to install them:

CBB 2.32 - OPERATIONAL
NEWS - 1.4 - OPERATIONAL AS FAR AS I CAN SEE
XCGALLERY - 2.02 - NOT SEEN TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL
PICAL - 0.76 - NOT SEEN TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL
USERPAGE - 1.3 - OPERATIONAL AS FAR AS I CAN SEE
PD-LINKS - 1.0 - OPERATIONAL
PD-DOWNLOADS - 1.2 - OPERATIONAL
LIAISE - 1.25 - OPERATIONAL AS FAR AS I CAN SEE
CARTOONS - 1.5 - NOT SEEN TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL
MY-FRAMES - 1.6 - UNKNOWN
XOOPS*VISIT - 1.0 - NOT SEEN TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL
WHO'S ONLINE - 1.0 - NOT SEEN TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL
SHOUTBOX - 4.0 - NOT SEEN TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL

Altsys 0.71a works properly without moving the altsys_functions.php file from the extras folder within XOOPS 2.3.2b.

GIJoe has defined XOOPS 2.3 in the altsys_functions within ver. 0.71a as
define( 'ALTSYS_CORE_TYPE_X23P' , 10 ) ; // 2.3 from xoops.org (phppp's P)


I just thought I would share what I have learned in trying to get this beast installed.

Tested on XAMPP local installation

XOOPS Version - XOOPS 2.3.2b
PHP Version - 5.2.8
MySQL Version - 5.1.30-community
Server API Version - apache2handler
OS Version - WINNT

Tested on remote installation:

XOOPS Version - XOOPS 2.3.2b
PHP Version - 5.2.8
MySQL Version - 5.0.51a-community
Server API Version - apache2handler
OS Version - Linux

You might consider a Games and Amusement section. I put a couple from spacedesign.nu one one of my sites and the users think it is great. No doubt there are lots of others out there.

@GPboarder : yes, good idea. But for moment, we want to limit number of categories. Later, we could consider sub-category (eg in Misc. modules)

I don't think that anybody will disagree with you

We just need first to catalog the modules which are working with 2.3.x, and then clean-up the rest of the repository.

Please contribute to it by placing your test results to Wiki page

But we'll need help with the repository - who can help us with adding "multi-category" feature to the download module? This would enable us with placing modules into multiple categories.
