He is working on Short URLs http://www.wtmmail.com/. I checked everyday once. BTW, Reynaldo, what about replacing '+' with "-" ?

like :

http://www.domain.com/m-news+article+storyid-2.html

with :

http://www.domain.com/m-news-article-storyid-2.html

One more point, links URL under Main Menu always ends with + just before .html, this is misleading. Like, http://www.domain.com/m-xoopsheadline+index+.html

I hope the new version get's ready soon. Around August 8th is the official launch of libervis.com when i would really love to have search engine friendly URL's fixed.

But anyhow, whenever it can be ready, i am not pushing, just letting know that this thing is neede, obviosly.

I using:
Xoops 2.0.6
ShotUrls 0.4 + xoops_shorturls.txt7 and loadpage.txt7

Module XoopsPartners have one bug:
cliks between pages of this module don't work

How to decide this problem?

I also need ShortURL for 2.0.7.1. that i use with IPB Module (in past it not worked with IPBModule). Someone have the system to use it with 2.0.7.1.. In my sites i have some errors with 2.0.7. It not work. In your site work ???Quote:

firstly WOW I took the plunge and installed short urls despite some negative press on module compatability.

So far every module seems to be working great! My Ads, WF Sections etc. I'm convinced this will have a good effect on engine listings.

The only problem I have is that after the install I only see news module in the centre block (top page) where in the past I had blocks only for the top page (about 8 arranged). How do I get my blocks back?

A. fixed this myself :)

btw what would have a big impact on search engine listings would be if the 'file name' could reflect the subject or title of the page beingg discussed.
xxxShortURLs-0.3-just released.html would be great for example.

i've noticed an issue with myalbum module - photo's no longer sort with shorturls installed.

The urls created suggested that sort (by rating/popularity) should be working but the photo's aren't actually sorted.

ie. http://www.colournation.com/myalbum-viewcat-cid-10-uid--orderby-ratingD-PHPSESSID-ee5bfbd64820a37e6b0ed2ecac5af071.html
