This is work in progress, i.e. things will change, so do NOT use it on a production site.

Tried it differently. There is an opinion that you have slightly changed xoops
Well, or I have already clogged xoops, all the same experiments also make themselves felt.
But this option does not work.

What XOOPS version do you use? Try XOOPS 2.5.9 from GitHub:
https://github.com/XOOPS/XoopsCore25

Also, which PHP version do you have? Try PHP 5.5+
