I think the real problem is in the #39;normal issue that you're having.... See https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=341048 for similar issues. I think this may be a template editing issue.

I suspect that the 404 error with the duplication of the /admin in the URL is a red herring...

problem solved !!

the cause of the problem : Directory "publisher" present in the module directory of my theme...

this template directory works well with the old Beta1 publisher...not with the RC1...
