Use only .htaccess for protection from hack attempts. Both Xortify and Protector need a lot of clearance and code optimization to call them protection modules.

You can be banned by both for throttled connection (when u got time out between ETH0 and Router/Gateway and do several refreshes. Only this "feature" cause me to remove both.

Some Maxton versions and Firefox forks causes BAN too. Loading Newsletter from POP3/IMAP client containing images on site causes ban too.
