Yes of course.

I want to put a poll at right side of the site for example "Do u like my site? " with two options.

With the previous version of xoopspoll i had this ability.

I am just wondering that i did something wrong with the installation or it just works within forum.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but it sounds like you just want to display the poll block? And you're not getting the desired result by checking the show in block checkbox?
