Oh, I'm using XOOPS 2.0.18.1 ... I'll try updating tonight and see what I got. lol.

Alright well I tried to update the XOOPS I had only to screw it all up...so I did a fresh install of the new XOOPS and I got it running but when I go into the admin area I have NO MENU. What's wrong? :(

this is what I get:

I assume that is what you get when clicking on 'control panel home'?
Try to adapt the settings for admin panel with /modules
/system/admin.php?fct=preferences&op=showmod&mod=1&confcat_id=1
.
