If we see new questions repeatedly asked that are not already in the FAQ, it is better to create another FAQ and lead users to that resource.??

I get your point. I can't argue there.

Thats, good its a sunday and I want a nice quiet day This IS a good idea, I mean to highlight user requests. The FAQ is getting large and the search does not always reveal details easily. So if you can think of a good way to improve the visibility of FAQs, or improve the hotlist, just let me know, I'm happy to help.

I'll change my focus a bit and be thinking of ways we might encourage our users to use the FAQ more effectively. It's almost 3am Sunday here. I have church later this morning. Good night.

There was a major project almost completed on the docs site which detailed a complete page with categorised links to hotlist Q&As tutorials and the like. Users could roam from site to site or question to question using a small navigator window. I still have some of it on my hard drive but most of the content was trashed in the last attack Many of us put hours of work into this and its gone back to ground zero.

I still think it would be a valuable resource as part of a central XOOPS Knowledge base.

I am happy to revive the project as it was part of a larger scale plan to include the FAQs and Official docs (when I release this.)

Unfortunately my priorities have now shifted to getting official docs visible here on xoops, so someone else would need to drive the car.
