Sorry, been busy working on a client's site. I breifly browsed your site in Firefox 0.9.2 and IE 6.0 and didn't see anything wrong with it. I haven't taken the time to look at your source code though.

BTW... Good job on the theme. Clean and uncluttered. I like that.

heh thanks i wanted it to look exactly like its html prequel so thats what i did. no hints on XOOPS whatsoever either

My host's support has given up already. They say that something is creating processes / connections to the database WITHOUT killing them afterwards so the whole system is extremely unstable now. Today I even had problems entering the admin area

There are two custom scripts on my page. If XOOPS is NOT bugged, one of them (or both) must be screwing everything up.

avatars.php
This one creates the picture gallery index.

viewimg.php
This one creates the individual galleries.

I've send you a PM with an URL where you can dl them.

Anyway, there's no mysql_close() in any of them, but is that really necessary? A friend of mine did them, and there's something like close handler in the upper part of the code. Doesnt that like kill the process?

I can say for certain that avatars.php is part of the problem as my CPU usage jumped to >35% sustained as soon as I loaded the page. I'm more of a HTML/CSS coder myself [just starting with PHP], so I don't know of a way to fix this off the top of my head. You may want to consult with someone who is more skilled at php.

When I browsed your site in Firefox 1.0.6, your Google Ads displayed just fine.

I have noticed, on my site, that Google ads can sometimes be a little flaky. One page load, everythign is fine, the next page load, the ad will take 20 seconds to load.

Best Regards,

James
