Inoticed someone had a similar problem when upgrading see this thread:

Here

Quote from onokazu:

"The problem seems to be that the query to database is returning empty values for block template names.
Try reuploading all files under modules/system/templates, or better upload all files under modules/system and update the module again from the module admin page."

A long shot, need to go to bed now..good luck

I couldn't get it to work at all. Not real sure what is going on here. Sure looks like a permissions problem. Any ideas?

Hello again,

Not sure if this will work, but worth a try.

If you go to modules/system/templates

Upload everything in there including the blocks folder to the same folders on your server..

Then click on "update" to update the system files in system admin/modules/system

A few other try outs after this:

Try switching debug off, and the blocks off, and then back on.

Clear out your template_c, if no joy, I would also go back to making the default XOOPS theme your default and see the results.

Double check the permissions on the server again

Goodness, I just saw your post before I was off, beats me. Daft question, but are you sure templates_c has the right name and is in your root? Also try a check the paths in your mainfile.php in your root

Well everything worked before you tried this new theme, so something has caused a fault

You might not want to do this, but if you send me your ftp login and admin access to your site, I will see what I can do? Need to be tommorow night though uk time

I am at james(at)macambridge(dot com) or pm me here

Thank Goodness! IT finally all works! I ended up doing the update on the system file again and then clearing the templates_c. Sorry about the typo on templates. I am not sure what really fixed it though. I did all this before time and time gain. I sure appreciate all the help you gave me! Take care! I am sure i will be reading other posts from you in the future!
