XAM Framework Download:
svn://hy-host.vicp.net/xoops/htdocs/Frameworks/xam/trunk

XAM RTL modules:
svn://hy-host.vicp.net/xoops/modules/xamrtl/trunk

xamtest modules:
svn://hy-host.vicp.net/xoops/modules/xamtest/trunk

[Google Translation:]
Update the XAM Framework, and then download and install XAM-RTL, lastly update XAMTEST, in xamtest inside a news admin, and which is to use a GridPage do.

Note: xamtest must use xamrtl module resources, so be sure to install xamrtl module. If you have installed xamrtl, please download the new version and update it in the Admin.

If you don't want to install it, you can test it directly via the following link:

Very interesting development!

I'll be definitely following this thread, this one, and this one

And I am glad to see Trabis looking into it as well

I think this is very interesting and very in time!
Building a module framework that all developers agree on use would be a great step forward. And as you see, we can create modules for test and demo proposes as we go along. Once we have a finished framework that all developers are happy with, we just have to move it to core.

Oh, yeah! Thanks someone to help me for translating the thread.

And Mamba, I hope you could test XAM, and give me more ideas. Thank you.

Yes, this is why I spent a lot of time to design framework. Just simple, I want everyone not only developer but also theme designer, even a normal user, can easily to build modules.

In my roadmap, the next step is going to write a plugin for PHPCoder(See this thread) to auto-generate the code. Something like what will IDE do.

A command line for rapid development. Yes, it is great, but keep an eye on TDMCreate module also. They are doing a good job with it!

This tool is old(made in 2007). But at that time I think command-line is a quick way to generate code for developers, like LINUX style. Of course, it is bad impress to normal user.

TDMCreate is very good. They develop a module to generate new module by GUI.

I like the sound of that!

I've tried it back in 2007, but the command-line, and system requirement that went beyond simple XOOPS installation, made it difficult.

Everything that is visual (like TDMCreate) is a good thing

So maybe you can see if you can collaborate with them, so instead two good tools, we could have one AWESOME tool!

I'll try, but there are tons of developers here (like Trabis, Kaotic, Hervet, DuGris, Wishcraft - just to name few), who could provide much more valuable feedback than me
