I need to do the same thing as Rouz_777. I am actually willing to pay for someone to make this module php4 compatible if that's what it takes.

We went through a 20 hour nightmare yesterday and last night with failed attempts to upgrade to php5, and we almost lost 11 sites.

All we need to make this site on XOOPS 2.0.16 ready to launch is to be able to define and require more information on registration. This project has been in development for 7 months and we need to launch very very soon.

i believe Mithrandir is back more frequently lately as he has had some exams or has exams coming up soon, so he hasn't been around much lately. his career & education come 1st at moment, but i'm sure he'll see your message on smartfactory and respond accordingly :) if not i'll email him to let him know of your request.

ok i just checked the CVS and have seen commits from Mithrandir in the last 7 days, and YES indeed PHP 4 compatibility has been added to the module, so expect a new release out soon after testing of course, but if you want to do some testing yourself and report bugs etc then by all means you can checkout the CVS version.

be aware we are not looking for feature request at moment, just bug reports and fixes (if possible), once the bugs are ironed out and the module is working as it should be, then feature requests will be on the cards for future versions ;)

Pm me if you don't know how to use CVS to get the module, and i'll zip it up for you and mail it you.

I changed my post in SmartFactory. I am going to attempt to get it from CVS. I will report any errors I get. Like I said over there, expect another donation soon. If this can get the Manufactured Sands site launched then my associates and I will be pleased. Then we shall be generous.

Also, I do have authorization to pay for feature development for a couple of other SmartFactory modules. I have to meet with Tania and Barry in a few hours, and I will have more information then.

Actually, I don't have the CVS authorization yet. I registered a project on Dev Forge, but haven't requested CVS access yet. If you could email it I would really appreciate it:

Thank you so much.
