Does anyone know of any modle that can do most of what websites like faceparty and mingleville can do. Or is anyone interested in doing it, it is mainly a profile sort of module that is more advanced than the basic one, and when a user joins, they get a url http://www.website.com/username

Does anyone know of any?

Thanks for all your time

I wonder if something could be done with a mod-rewrite type command?

I am not a programmer, I wonder how you would go about doing this, also is it hard?

I am also very interested in such a module.
i wrote earlier a post about it.

See the post here My previous post

Is this what kind of what you also are looking for?

My alternative would be a hack of the "extended users" module, making it kinda like my "contact us" form, so that me myself can add dropdown boxes or other options from the admin board, in order to create a user registration card that contains all the information that i want.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hi,
could Mithrandir's Obs_classroom Module (Link here) be what you're looking for?
Good Luck,
Alan

I checked out the Obs classroom module, and it did not fit my needs.

i have a very clear thought about what i want, and if someone has the skills, i would be more than happy to give my input.

anyone out there....??

That sounds like a great idea...

i do have some ideas about it, and i don't think that it should be VERY difficult... (but then again i don't do any programming)

My own suggestion would be break down what is actually required of this module first... then to see if anyone is able & willing to develop the module ... ideally for free?
