When I go to search even when logged in as admin I will always receive zero results. This is searching through the extended module not the administrative pages search. I can return results there.

Any thoughts?

I answered part of my own question. I cannot use wildcard searches to return all results. Is there any workaround or trick to returning all user account results?

Could you provide a specific example, or examples, that's not working?

On the left block menu select Search under Extended Profiles.

In anyone of the searchable fields try and enter an "*" or blank and submit.

At that point no results are found. I can't find a way to return ALL user results from this menu.

Dave - On my website, the extended profiles module does not read all the users from the user file. The drop down name box has no names listed. When I click submit to see all the users, I get "no users found". If I put in an email address, etc. and click submit, I get "no users found".

Basically, there is something not clicking between the module and the xoops_users database file. Haven't figured it out yet!

Thanks,

Kelly Ling

Did you click on list to list your users, before clicking submit?

Not sure if you're asking me, but I'll answer. In my "extended profiles" module, there are no user names in my list. However, they are still in my database, they are still in my xoopsmembers module, just not in the "extended profiles" module.

Personally, I don't believe the profile module is reading the user file. Or, if it is, it's not bringing the usernames and info into the module.

Just below the empty dropdown list is a group of links:

List | Search | Remove

Click on the first link "List" and it should populate the dropdown list with your users. This is in Modules - Extended Profiles - Users The upper edit user section.

Err, actually gives a popup with a dropdown of users. Sorry.

HTH.

If it still does not list them enable MySQL debug and see if any errors.

Oh, boy! OK - I see how to get them into the extended profiles module - but I've got over 600 registered users! Can these be added by bulk or is it a one-by-one proposition?
