Does anyone know if the module that was being planned called 'CMA - Club Membership Administration' has had any work done on it since March this year (see it at ? Dev Xoops which suggests not).

If not, does anyone know of anyone else who is developing something like it (other than the membership module). Or, would anyone want to implement the features of CMA into the Membership module (which would make sense to me).

It is exactly what I need to regulate membership of F3 via the website. The Membership module, although feature rich in many ways, does not have all the functionality that I need, and CMA looked to have the features but has not been developed.

Ted

I am also interested for the CMA module.
I have tried the Subsciption Module for XOOPS but I did not manage it.
I have also decided to financially contribute the person who could make such a module.

Hi Ted.

xAsset should be able to do this for you as it offers support for subscriptions (with notifications for expiring members) and auto expiring for lapsed memberships.

xAsset does using Xoops' group permissions and by adding/removing users from groups depending on which products are purchase.

Cheers.

McNaz.

Hi McNaz,

I've tested xAsset and I found it very good for the purpose that it was built for, but not complete as a CMA.
A CMA should, among others, give the opportunity for voting (many persons in many Parties), invoicing, communicate with the user db and so.

Do you think that you can work on xAsset and XoopsPolls to create a CMA?

Ted what do you think?

Off the top of my head, the features I require, to name a few are :

Initial Invoices to unsubsribed members
Reminder Invoices to late payers
Annual expirary of membership resulting in auto-deletion of site user account
Auto Invoicing for expired membership
Annual Renewal of membership subject to payment of invoice
Online Payment Methods (perhaps)
Export to Spreadsheet
Interaction with membership module (perhaps)
Storage of name, address, e-mail address, company name, fax number, etc

I will Edit this post as others occur to me. I have not tried xAsset so will have a look at that, but if it does not Invoice, that's no good for me.

Currently, in my case, it's the treasurer who does all this manually and he then notifies me about new\renewed members and I create\remove a web site account for them depending on what they have decided to do. A module that could do all of this for us would be great and save a non-profit organisation A LOT of time.
