@rominus, i've been having a good luck thru the edits and all seem to be fine..

but have noticed something that maybe the cause.

it looks like some of the files that should be XOOPS 2.0.9.2/3 are actually still 2.0.7.3 files..

include/version.php still says 2.0.7.3 which it shouldn't :S

also root/user.php is 2.0.7.3 version and a few others.

i dunno why, maybe some files weren't copied correctly and overwrote. or possibly when u installed gijoes autologin hack, you may have used the 2.0.7.3 version of the hack, i am not sure.

is gijoes autologin hack and the multilanguiage the only hacks you have installed? if so i'll add those hacks to the files on my system and then update all your core files from the 2.0.9.3 pack to make sure they are all using 2.0.9.3. then it would be a matter of just re uploading the profiles hack files etc.. it might be the easier option. let me know and i'll get onto it today.

hey m0nty,

I am still using version 2.0.7!
I used the version 2.0.9.3 of your hack, but the rest of the core files are 2.O.7. My XOOPS is 2.0.7

The only hack I installed is the autologin,

I have NOT installed the multilanguage hack just the language module. (it is not a hack)

So maybe the solution is to update my whole XOOPS to 2.0.9.3, but will all the modules I have installed still work?

Anyway I am trusting you with this Im sure you know best

i'll have a look at the modules, the ones i remember seeing on your site will work with 2.0.10 too, but i'll find out about the rest before making any changes. for example the languages module, i don't know about that 1. could you point me to the authors website.

but i think moving to 2.0.9.3 at least would be a better choice just to iron out other bugs and introduce a more secure system..

you're welcome..

yes an admin acct would be needed so can do the system module update and templates..

have already backed up your existing files, so if anything does go wrong, can revert back to 2.0.73 (there's no db changes from 73 to 93 so it's just a matter of replacing files)
