So here we are with Edito 2.4 totally BETA ! .

Tjzeess,......this is what you can call quick! Looks like you have somekind of an 'edito pandorrabox'
Just downloaded it and will play and test it tommorow.

One question though.......since this edito module is getting lots of different really great features, I think you should give this module another name. Make it a different module!
Reason why I suggest this is because the edito 2.3 version has also great features and functions of which I can imagine webmasters wouldn't want to loose. The 2.3 version is more like an easy to use and very flexible webmasters article manager.
As I see it this newer edito version is getting somewhat like a registered usersblog/-homepage modulefeature usage.

Hmm... yes I know. I have been thinking about that. But the fact is that myEdito is just an extra-feature of Edito. There is in fact nothing which prevent using the module both way.

Anyway, I know what you mean, and I'm thinking about a way to make easier the module duplication. In fact, the only difficult aspect there, are the functions names. But I'm sure there must be a way, through a script or something, to do this easily.

Anyway, it wouldn't be a big deal to propose 2 different versions of the same module in the .zip pack...

Ok, here we go with Edito 2.4 Beta - B.

Correction :
Index Logo size set to 0, don't display any picture.
When anonymous, edito was bugging.
Missing defines in english.

New :
- Menu blocs are now adapted to the myEdito function. 2 new functions :
a) Display the user's own editos
b) displays the editos of the user that he is currently reading.

- Display author's informations (Name, link to profile, avatar and link) on his index page.

Bug to be corrected:
Anonymous group doesn't display in module settings.

Please let me know.

PS : Remember this is a module in progress and definitely not a useable module for production!

Today's beta version : Edito 2.4 C.

This version includes some new bloc features.

Next steps are :

- Index pages to display editors (users who have edited editos)

- Editors groupe access. To define which group is able to create and edit new editos.

If you have any other ideas, you are welcome!

Now that the Edito 2.3 is released and seems to be pretty stable *phew*, I'm already working on the next version : Edito 2.4.

I haven't been able to get 2.3.2 to work with XOOPS 2.2.3...

I can add edito's, change settings but I cannot get the current list of edito's to show up.

Perhaps you can help...

Because it's not compatible...

Tips : edit the include/myblocks.php file and empty it. Just leave the quotes.
