I've just done a fresh install with 2.0.15. Everything has worked fine during the install, but whenever I click on 'Administration Menu' it loops back to index.php without taking me to the admin page? If however, I click on something else first (for example the Notifications option or 'View Account') I get a repeating message of "No User Selected! Please go back and try again." for about 8 or 9 times, until eventually it stops and returns to the homepage.

Weird?

Is this an XOOPS issue, or could it be a server (permissions) issue?

Ted

I have found that it only does this on full 2.0.15 installations.

If you install 2.0.14 then upgrade it does not.

Yep - that was it. How odd. I uninstalled everything, deleted the database, and started from 2.0.14 and then updated to 2.0.15 and it's working fine now.

Bit of a bug there I fancy. How do you report such bugs again - I forgot.

Left side menu: Report Core bug

Any additional information?
MySQL, PHP version, Apache or IIs, firewall, specific browser only?

Does not happen for me in a quick test with
MySQL 5.0.21 / PHP 5.1.4
and on some MySQL 4.0x / Php 4.4x at my webhost.

Simpler than comparing archives:

Run the md5 check on your files. Mine runs through without any problem.

(btw. my file was the zip version and came from the opus mirror at sourceforge.net)

brash can you reproduce this issue or is it limited to ted´s one site?

brash / ted:

Does it happen with a fresh install also? (i assume you could quickly try something on a testsubdomain if you haven´t already )
