Please report any new Bugs, and hopefully solutions to fix them in this forum here

Please open a new thread for each new bug.

This thread is a follow-up thread to this news, where we can discuss the "XOOPS Bug Hunting Week", but we shouldn't be discussing individual bugs.

HI Mamba just to clarify, is this hunting for bugs in 2.5 or 2.4.5?

At this moment, let's focus on 2.4.5.

Once 2.5.0 Beta is out, then we'll be addressing the bugs there.

Trabis stated within the newsitem that, apart from security issues, there will be no bugfixes concerning 2.4.5.
Then why focussing on 2.4.5?
I really don't understand this Bug Hunting 2.4.5 thread.

2.5.0 has the same core as 2.4.5 - so any bug in 2.4.5 will be also in 2.5.0. If we are aware of bugs in 2.4.5, then we'll get rid of them in 2.5.0.

Once the 2.5.0 Beta is out, then we can test if there are any new bugs, or if some of the 2.5.0 changes exposed old bugs.

I hope, it makes now sense...

I am testing modules on 2.5.2 and have issues that are not happening in 2.4.5. How do we go on with that? We should not report these issues if they are not relevant to 2.4.5?
