Hi mariane,

I tried and did it based on your first code post. then I compared with your last code post and wow came up to the same. Got it working created a new block for this also. So I can make it appear any where is the site. This is great when doing things the manual way. Based on your first code, the script did not work, all I got is 1 2 3 4 5 ... at the bottom but no news item, well this is the challenge. Hope to see your solution soon.

Thanks

Hi linux-ws,
I believe the mastop publish module can help you with this one. I has a menu block, not sure if it is clonable, but it can do a number of things for you, like creating pages, link to pages automatically or use links to create menu items and horizontal menu also. However this mod has not bee updated for some time now. if that does not help you the multimenu module can do the work but its more manual work for you. I also noticed that you can only use the provided amount of menus that you can create, if you try to create/clone additional menu blocks it doesn't really work perhaps a fix can be made to make it work.

"5. I need to be able to sell stuff on my website, using a PHP store script, such as Zen-Cart. I know how to install and use Zen-Cart, but I want to integrade Zen-Cart into my XOOPS installation, without any problems."

I believe a module on this script was released earlier this year so it should be pretty good but you have to buy it. If you plan to have users post their listings then you can use a module like catads mod,

Hi Guys,

I followed up a couple of hacks that were available. however these work with publisher or articles module. My scenario is that I am already using the news module last version by Tabis on Xuups site . So adopting the Publisher solution is not an option now.

I need to display the latest three news articles from the news mod categories with their attached image, using similar style fromhttp://css-tricks.com/creating-a-slick-auto-playing-featured-content-slider/

This is the ultimate goal.

probably it should be adopted as part of Xoops core, considering Peekay's last comment.

Sorry just saw this post. but here is the quick fix. Took forever to figure it out. In your themes style css file you can at an entry for "tr" separately or add it along with "th, thead" to look like this "th, tr, thead" as you can see in the one I used below. I use the default theme that comes with xoops installation.

caption {font-weight: bold;}
th, thead {background-color: #EEEEEE; padding : 2px; color: #333333; vertical-align : middle;}
tr {background-color: #EBEBEB; padding : 2px; color: #333333; vertical-align : middle;}
.outer {border: 1px solid #c0c0c0;}
.head {
background-color: #CCCCCC;
padding: 5px;
font-weight: bold;
background-image: url(bbg.gif);
}

I found out that this also may change the theme color depending on the color you use. However the mouse pointer still remains as a text cursor that probably something that we can try to fix together. I feel sad that I can't access the module developer's website to make some suggestions eg.

-I need to be able to list events using a range of date and by categories.
- Also there is a check box to the right that doesn't have any labels that needs to be labeled.
- Force users to choose a category of events before submitting a new entry.

Probably some here can post this to the developers site I mentioned it here in previous posts.

Hi all,
I still can't figure out the issue I mentioned above. I am still blocked by GIJOE's site, would like to post on his site since I see his last Login was 2006/8/30 3:01.

I notice that the transparency for the calendar is a theme issue, since I use another theme and it works just fine but I have customized the latest xoops default theme.

Can someone send me a copy of pical .92. Appreciate the help.

If I can get his email I wouold be happy to send GIJOE an email.
