Koivi now shows, thank you. But as usual another problem occurs. I simply can't write in the text field. Some times I can though, but some times can't. Why and how? I have no idea lol

maybe you have deactivated javascript, in Firefox you can activate it with:
go to Tools >> Properties (or something, it's on the bottom), hit the globe on your left hard and check the box Allow JavaScript.

I'm not gonna turn register globals on, so I just remove the previewbutton instead and wait with it until AMS is developed to make it without register globals.

But would be nice if someone could help me with the other problems.

[edit] just tried with register global ON, and preview did not work then either for me. But it surely has something to do with the server cause I tried with the exactly same filestructure and database on a another server and there preview worked fine, any ideas on what else I can change?

PHP: 4.4.0-4
MySQL: 4.1.15
Xoops: 2.2.3
AMS: 2.41

Thanks for all help so far

Thank you Ryan, Brash and everyone at it-hq

But preview of an article does still not work for me, both short description and full story disapears in the preview when I click on the previewbutton.

And the koivi for AMS can't find some of the words in the language-file.

errors from phpdebug:
Warning [PHP]: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in file class/xoopseditor/koivi/formwysiwygtextarea.php line 65

Have got my server-admin du change allow_url_fopen.. kind admin, even when he screw up the server sometimes...

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

Should I also make sure that magic_quotes_gpc is ON ?

Thanks for your help

[Edit:] magic_quotes_gpc set to 1

I have no experience with .htaccess ..just try to follow all suggestions that sounds good from trusted sites

But if I have understood it right..
php_flag allow_url_fopen off
php_flag register_globals off

..is only required in the root of the website, correct?

not with me, the only module that I've translated that is shipped with 2.2.x is PM

But as you see in this Topic it was server-related.

[edit]: Now the mailfunction works again it was server-related, suddenly a bunch of mails popped up in my inbox
Ask your server-admin jakeabiva, maybe you don't have permission to the sendmail binary, yet.

You haven't Javascript activated,

In Firefox you can turn it on when you go to Tools >> Properties, click on the globe on your left and check the box Allow JavaScript

Doesen't know much more than it worked for me too before, but suddenly it stopped working. I used and use 2.2.3 so I don't think it has something to do wth the core.
Maybe it has something to do with the hostingprovider or something with the permission. Filepermission is the only "big thing" I can remember I have changed and haven't tried to make it back yet..so maybe that's the solution
