On my website sk8photos.comI am using xcgal to diplay photos.

Well I realized that on the charlotte catagory I used to large of a photos. what I have done this far is ftp the photos to my hard drive to alter.

My question is this, should I alter (resize) just the orignal photos and the module will do the rest? if you take a look you will see why I need to resize the root image, they are too large.

I did get the install page to appear, However, at the end of the install it said that it XOOPS could not connect to the database. And now I get this message

"This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

If you are the administrator of this site, please visit the XOOPS Troubleshooting Page for assistance.

Error [Xoops]: Unable to connect to database in file class/database/databasefactory.php line 34"

What would this mean?

also how would I stop the XOOPS directory from Browsing?

I was Introduced to XOOPS By my Hosting Company. However, at this time I am redirecting users to my XOOPS default page by use of javaScript. I have tried domain forwarding but the browser seem to just crash. Is there a way to make XOOPS the default page without the javaScript? I ask this question because this method makes the page seem to be Slow in loading. The URL for my XOOPS is www.sk8photos.comif this will help answer my question.

I am using cookies and cache on my site now. I am thinking about using sessions. Can anyone tell me the advantages of using sessions over cookies if any, and how or what do I need to do special if anything, besides change the settings in the admin>preferences.
