The value '0' in the DB exactly responds to the date 1/1/1970 cause it uses the timestamp format - that is the number of seconds from the beginning of the unix epoch (which starts at 1/1/1970). So having 0 in that field could be because of bad transfer of the info, maybe the script hasn't coppied the 'user_regdate' field and is set to default '0', so that's the final effect.

That's why XOOPS is a CMS and a really powerful CMS and pLog is just a multi-blog application Maybe the only common thing between is that both are really good open source projects but much different in their heart and aims

Login through your admin account and get to your System Admin -> Templates section. There you can find you new theme and have to generate all your template files.
Not sure if that's what the problem is but its a first step. If doesn't work, you should give here more information.
Good luck!

Edit: sorry, didn't see the answers that has come after I've open this thread and before my post :)

One last question, is it only possable to get one module to display on the main page, or multiple? Thanks again!

what you display on any page are blocks. so you can display on your main page (or any other page) as many blocks from different modules as you wish the way Peekay mentioned. just give a block to be displayed on that page, give it a position and a weights, so blocks on same position will be arranged by their weight. to make a module to be loaded on your start page is to make module's index page to be your main page which is much different.

where you have 'color:#FFFFFF;' - that's where you give a color for the text; just change it to 'color:#000000;' to make it black.
and also add 'background-color: #FFFFFF;' or just 'background: #FFFFFF;' to 'td#centercolumn' to give default white background-color to that center table fields.

but it won't be what you really want because of some reasons - what you want is a multi-blog system and wordpress itself doesn't support that feature, it's just a multi-user blog system, i.e. many users could post on one blog so there's one site they all are using, so one theme. using mod_rewrite to redirect you'll have to make different clone installation for each user and then you'll imitate it, but you'll have to make each wordpress installation separately by your own. so i've been looking for the same feature (wanted each user to simply register by himself and then got his own blog which can moderate himself, like theme, etc.) and concluded it's still not possible under XOOPS now.
there are some other possibilities not connected to xoops, so sorry i'll mention them here in the XOOPS community site, that do this - at this moment i've found 2 open source multi-blog systems (standalone applications) that work and give you the wanted feature:
1) pLog (http://plogworld.net/) - i think it's much better and has a good working development team;
2) WordPressMU (http://mu.wordpress.org/) - that's a different project than WordPress himself but still got a lot of problems working and seems like a very small development team, but on the other side it seems to be used well on existing multi-blog sites.

And another one i forgot - Wang's Wordpress Multi-blog Hack (http://www.wswang.com/bloh/?p=3) - that seems to be working ok as i tried it but don't relly on a real-working support, it seems to be a real problem.

So, it's from me.
Greetings!

the xPress still pointed some serious problems when i last tested it maybe 2 weeks ago but it could have been proved now. kapeman, is it a simple SingleUser or a MultiUser blog you're looking for? or it's sth more serious like a multi-blog? cause it seems there's no multi-blog support module for XOOPS at this time and that was what i was interested in.
Greetings!

gestroud, look at that thread -https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=23991&start=0#forumpost181587
the guys are right, there's a copyright violation there using ms-weather. in fact, the module author seems to be responsible here, while giving it on GPL, but we all seem to be careful too.
Greeting!
